The Brooklyn Nets have fired head coach Steve Nash after a 2-5 start to the season according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Nets’ assistant Jacque Vaughn will be the acting coach, but the organization will search for replacements for the rest of the season.
Nash was 94-67 during his three seasons as head coach. While he had made the playoffs in each of the first two years in charge, expectations were a bit higher with the superstars on the roster over the last few seasons.
The Nets will play the Bulls on Tuesday night in their first game without Nash.
