NFL Draft Prospects to Watch in College Football Week 10 Recap

Joe DiTullioBy Joe DiTullioNovember 6, 2022Updated:November 6, 20224 Mins Read

While the 2023 NFL Draft is still far off in the distance, players that will be drafted early are on the field now. Each week presents unique matchups for draft prospects and this week is no different. Here are NFL Draft prospects to watch in college football week 10 recap.

1. Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia Bulldogs

Georgia got their biggest win of the season against Tennessee. Their defense really stepped up and shut down Tennessee’s offense. That included Ringo’s great play. He finished the game with seven total tackles and had a nice interception where he stayed on top of the route and made a play on the ball.

Ringo is proving why many see him as the best corner in the 2023 NFL Draft class. He notched his first interception since the one that sealed the National Championship Game, but not many quarterbacks throw the ball his way. Ringo is currently projected to be an early first round pick.

2. Jalin Hyatt, WR, Tennessee Volunteers

Tennessee had a rough day in their loss to Georgia. Their high-powered offense stalled and showed weaknesses for the first time this season. Hyatt, their big-play threat, had a relatively quiet game. He finished the game with six catches for 63 yards.

This season, Hyatt’s stock has soared, even if he didn’t have his best performance this week. His speed and ability to stretch defenses can change games. He’ll need to add some weight to his frame, but he can be a player who makes an impact at the next level. Hyatt is a projected mid-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

3. Bryce Young, QB, Alabama Crimson Tide

Alabama was likely knocked out of the College Football Playoff picture with their loss to LSU. Their offense wasn’t as potent as usual, as they scored 31 points in a game that went to overtime. Young really struggled in this game, as he finished the game 25 of 51 passing for 328 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

What will really sting Young is that he is generally a great decision-maker and he threw an interception in the red zone early in the game, which could have changed things. He is still a very good quarterback prospect. Young is projected to be a top five pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

4. Kayshon Boutte, WR, LSU Tigers

LSU pulled off the upset of Alabama and their offense played a huge part in that, even if they didn’t have massive amount of yards. Their wide receivers made plays to extend drives and help them win the game. Boutte led the team in receiving with seven receptions for 51 yards.

The lack of production in this game has little to do with Boutte’s talent and more of a product of the offensive system and quarterback play. He does need to play better down the stretch. Even so, he still has a shot to be the first receiver taken in the 2023 NFL Draft and is projected to be a first round pick.

5. A.T. Perry, WR, Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Wake Forest has lost some steam from the early part of the season and have dropped two straight games, this one coming to NC State. Their offense hasn’t been as good as of late and they scored just 21 points. Despite the struggles, A.T. Perry had a great game for the Demon Deacons. He finished with 12 receptions for 159 yards and a touchdown.

Perry is one of many talented wide receivers in this draft class. The top is confusing, but Perry has been productive in his college career. At 6-foot-5 and 206 pounds, he presents a matchup problem for opposing defenses. He is currently projected to be a day two pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
