Seamless safe viewing

Remote browser isolation (RBI) uses pixel rendering of uncategorized and risky websites to deliver seamless safe viewing by users in their natural browsing environment.

RBI uses a zero trust approach to web browsing using physical separation to ensure safe browsing. RBI ensures that web server code is executed far from the user’s system, and only a safe pixel rendered interactive image is delivered to the end user’s browser. RBI works by executing web server code in cloud based containers, and reproducing the resulting web page as an interactive pixel rendered image. RBI ensures no executable code makes it from a web server to an end-user’s system, essentially creating an “air gap,” ensuring complete safety for viewing web pages browsed through RBI.

Easy to use

RBI of web pages in policy is easily enabled with a fully integrated and easy to select ‘isolate’ policy action within the Netskope management console.RBI requires no other setup beyond selecting the action when setting up policy.

Users get a seamless experience, with no change to their environment or browsing experience.

Simple deployment

Avoid the complexity of forward proxy configurations, certificates, unique URLs, and multiple cloud environments with fully integrated RBI.

For existing and new Netskope customers, deploying RBI is a simple license addition, and adding policy to trigger RBI, using a built-in policy option for RBI.

RBI works with Netskope Intelligent Security Service Edge (SSE) and Netskope Next Gen Secure Web Gateway (NG-SWG).

Dangerous code executed away from users

Potentially dangerous and malicious code from compromised websites is executed in dedicated containers in the cloud, far away from user systems, and only the final pixel rendered image of the website, free of malicious code, is delivered to end-users.

Each user’s web browsing activity is executed in a separate container, and after the user has completed browsing, the containers are deleted, ensuring complete isolation between users, with no possibility of containers being re-used.
